Relaxing Saturday

Black Speedway Poncho, Grey Cheap Monday Jeans, Chiara Ferragni Biker Boots, Brown vintage Urban Outfitters bag, Grey Speedway Scarf

Being a Nanny is a rewarding and lovely job, however when Friday comes around I am ready for the weekend. This is the look I chose for Saturday, a day spent running errands with my Boyfriend, cooking and going for a long walk with my Greyhound. It is a little cold right now but this knitted poncho kept me warm, I like to get outdoors whatever the weather!! How about you? Do you prefer to spend winter days warm inside by the fire or discover the great outdoors?!?!?!

Hurry up Spring

Living in London is not the most colourful place in Winter!!!
A fabulous vibrant city, but with dull weather none the less, I guess the winter so far has not been too painful. As I write this it is still light outside and I can see the beginnings of a lovely pink sunset. Dreading the 6.30am alarm clock call in the morning I am already dreaming of holidays to the Far East and reminiscing of my time in LA (I was fortunate enough that with my job as a nanny I got to experience the months of September to December pretty much living the American dream on Venice Beach). So as I sit here drinking my favourite Earl Grey tea in fine bone china and flicking through February's issue of Glamour magazine I notice pastels will once again adorn our favourite shops. This photo shoot with Clémence Poésy is a must to read. She is gorgeous and has such fabulous style. I have had a style crush on her ever since her appearance in Gossip Girl as Chuck Bass' girlfriend, she really is the epitome of Parisian chic.

And as the night is now drawing in I can't help but think that maybe I could inject into me a little bit of a fresh spring look by using one of these Barry M nail polishes. Is January too early to forget my Black Satin Chanel nail varnish?

...the beginning 01.01.12

This is the look I wore last Sunday on New Years day!
Starting 2012 with colour I opted for the comfiest red Leigh jeans from Topshop, teamed with a cotton blouse, Club Monaco Cashmere pullover and Cashmere hat, really helped me from feeling the chill!!! Wearing my new Chiara Ferragni biker boots which I fell in love with and had to have as soon as I saw them, I matched  them with a simple black leather jacket from ASOS.  My Fashionology  bone and skull necklaces are my favourite pieces to accessorize with, adding edge to my outfits. With my Alexander Wang Jane zip bag, I set off for brunch with close friends to enjoy great conversations, yummy food and a lovely afternoon stroll in Hampstead Heath!
